New Canadian Area Codes are coming!

Phone numbers under existing area codes are in short supply.
Making way for the growing number of telecommunication devices, more area codes are being introduced. 

Below is a list of new area codes coming to Canada:

ONTARIO
  • 742: Overlapping with 289/365/905 (ON) starting 16 October 2021
  • 753: Overlapping with 343/613 (ON) starting 22 March 2022
  • 683: Overlapping with 249/705 (ON) starting 18 June 2022

ALBERTA
  • 368: Overlapping with 403/587/780/825 (AB) starting 23 April 2022

QUEBEC
  • 263: Overlapping with 438/514 (QC) starting 22 October 2022
  • 354: Overlapping with 450/579 (QC) starting 22 October 2022
  • 468: Overlapping with 819/873 (QC) starting 22 October 2022

MANITOBA
        584: Overlapping with 450/579 (QC) starting 29 October 2022

NEW BRUNSWICK
        428: Overlapping with 506 (NB) starting 23 April 2023
